Mr. Edward Ejike Okpa is a profound leader adept in business and politics. He is an experienced Commercial Real Estate consultant, and adviser to the developer of Third Rail Lofts, the first residential tower in Dallas downtown.
A man of many firsts, Mr. Okpa is the first foreign-born elected board secretary of the Dallas black chamber of commerce. His desire to make an impact in his community led him to become an alumnus of Legacy Dallas, Dallas Police, and Dallas FBI citizens. In 1996 he was privileged to accompany the then Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk on his first business and economic development trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe. The success of this trip earned him another invite in 2000 to Costa Rica and Washington DC.
Mr. Okpa is a nominee for excellence in international trade by the erstwhile greater Dallas chamber of commerce, and a former Dallas Mayor candidate. His dedicated service to Texas earned him an Admiral title in the Texas Navy.
In this episode, Mr. Okpa shares how he was able to break boundaries and conquer new territories. If you are thinking of moving to another city or country his line of thought will blow your mind and teach you how to gain ground in the new location and make your voice heard.
